The Pentacle or Pentagram (encircled Pentagram), is an ancient spiritual symbol shaped as a five-pointed star with one point aligned upwards. It is considered to be representative of the five elements from which man is made, namely fire, air, water, earth and spirit. The Pentacle is mostly used by Wiccan’s but also is used in other pagan paths too, such as, Egyptian, Greek, Babylonian, Chinese, Indian or Mayan.
The pentacle star is a naturally occurring sacred geometrical shape, most commonly found in the centre of an apple if you cut it through the middle.

Application Instructions:
Cosmic-Corner embroidered patches can be stitched or ironed onto a range of items including bags, shirts, hats, pants, skirts, etc. For best results the ‘iron on’ effect works with polycotton (polyester/cotton) fabric mixes for good adhesion. Instructions using an Iron:
Step 1: Set your hand iron at the hottest temperature setting. MAKE SURE IRON ISN’T ON STEAM SETTING!!
Step 2: Place your applique or embroidered patch in the desired position and place a pressing cloth, such as a tea towel or pillowcase laying over top.
Step 3: Press the iron straight down for 30 seconds with as much constant pressure as possible without moving it back and forth. Keep checking after 30 seconds to make sure stitches are not melting down. If OK press for a further 15 seconds or more until patch is taking to desired garment.
Step 4: Turn the garment inside-out and repeat steps two & three as above.
Step 5: Allow the applique or embroidered patch to cool down.
‘Iron on’ may not be a permanent solution and hand sowing the patch on although more time consuming is always the best way!
