Brighten up a boring bag, hat, coat, t-shirt etc with one of these Cosmic Corner crafted iron on patches and enjoy discover the mystery of the Ancient Mayans. All of these of these colourful items are embroidered with durable bright rayon colours to enhance the mystical spiral pattern throughout and finished off with Mayan art inspired borders.
All patches are finished with a classic merrow styled edge for extra strength.
The name Hunab Ku literally means ‘The One God’ which can be seen as the source of all. The Hunab Ku symbol, along with balance & harmony also represents unity and wholeness, whereby the inner circular shape represents the interconnected entirety of the universe. Other aspects of the symbol are duality, much like the Chinese Yin Yang symbol meaning, and energy & motion, in that the spiraling elements can represent motion or energy movement. This signifies the cyclical and transformational birth, death and rebirth nature of the universe.

Care Instructions
Application Instructions:
Cosmic-Corner embroidered patches can be stitched or ironed onto a range of items including bags, shirts, hats, pants, skirts, etc. For best results the ‘iron on’ effect works with polycotton (polyester/cotton) fabric mixes for good adhesion. For permanent results stitching patches on by hand with thread is the best and most long lasting way.
Instructions using an Iron:
Step 1: Set your hand iron at the hottest temperature setting. MAKE SURE IRON ISN’T ON STEAM SETTING!!
Step 2: Place your applique or embroidered patch in the desired position and place a pressing cloth, such as a tea towel or pillowcase laying over top.
Step 3: Press the iron straight down for 30 seconds with as much constant pressure as possible without moving it back and forth. Keep checking after 30 seconds to make sure stitches are not melting down. If OK press for a further 15 seconds or more until patch is taking to desired garment.
Step 4: Turn the garment inside-out and repeat steps two & three as above.
Step 5: Allow the applique or embroidered patch to cool down.
‘Iron on’ may not be a permanent solution and hand sowing the patch on although more time consuming is always the best way!
