Greetings Earthlings! You are observing a Cosmic Corner ‘Shroom Time’ magic mushroom triangular Embroidered sew/iron-on patch in a choice of either sunset sky oranges or UV bright & Glow in Dark Blue. The design itself was inspired by a crop circle created in Hampshire, UK on 1st Aug 2023.
Brighten up a boring bag, hat, coat, t-shirt etc with one of these Cosmic Corner crafted iron on patches and enjoy the psychedelic shroom theme of these colourful items! Embroidered with durable bright rayon colours including glow in the dark / UV activated threads, this trippy fungal patch is sure to make your days go with a swing!
This triangular patch measures roughly 4.3 inches (11 cm). Sides measure 11cm x11cm x 12xcm(base).
This product is NOT electrical or battery operated and is made of cotton fabric and 100% polyester glow treated thread. The glow thread we use is charged up when worn in natural sun light or placed under a bright light and will glow immediately after for a few minutes in a dark environment. It will however glow constantly under UV black light, such as in a night club, at a rave, or party etc. It is possible to make your own UV dark light with a torch and blue/purple colouring pens. Care Instructions
Application Instructions:
Cosmic-Corner embroidered patches can be stitched or ironed onto a range of items including bags, shirts, hats, pants, skirts, etc. For best results the ‘iron on’ effect works with polycotton (polyester/cotton) fabric mixes for good adhesion. For permanent results stitching patches on by hand with thread is the best and most long lasting way.
Instructions using an Iron:
Step 1: Set your hand iron at the hottest temperature setting. MAKE SURE IRON ISN’T ON STEAM SETTING!!
Step 2: Place your applique or embroidered patch in the desired position and place a pressing cloth, such as a tea towel or pillowcase laying over top.
Step 3: Press the iron straight down for 30 seconds with as much constant pressure as possible without moving it back and forth. Keep checking after 30 seconds to make sure stitches are not melting down. If OK press for a further 15 seconds or more until patch is taking to desired garment.
Step 4: Turn the garment inside-out and repeat steps two & three as above.
Step 5: Allow the applique or embroidered patch to cool down.
‘Iron on’ may not be a permanent solution and hand sowing the patch on although more time consuming is always the best way!
